Volunteers information session: Sunday 19 October.

We’re looking to expand our pool of fantastic volunteers who play such a vital role all year round, but particularly during the competition. Volunteers help front of house running our events, but also host competitors, drive them from place to place or even allow them to practise on their own pianos.

18th Hastings International Piano Competition

Sounds of Creativity is back!

Sounds of Creativity, a free workshop series combining live classical piano with guided creative art sessions, launched this year at the White Rock Theatre. The workshops were designed to harness the therapeutic benefits of music and art and aim to support members of the Hastings community experiencing mental health challenges, social isolation, and a lack of access to cultural activities

2026 Patrons’ Tour of English Champagne Country

We’re very pleased to offer, for the first time, a four-day tour of English champagne country, devised exclusively for Patrons of Hastings International Piano, especially those based outside the UK. The programme invites you to experience the south coast in the final stages of the 2026 competition, and includes a tour of English champagne country, tours of public and private art collections and historic monuments, as well as tickets to the orchestral finals.
